gen 16, Nuoro, Saint Anthony’s bonfire. 10:16 p.m.
AB – …….so, I’ll be back tomorrow morning to take some ash and coal. Now it’s too hot.
GL – Ok, but don’t be late, otherwise you won’t find anything (laughing).
AB – Why’s that?
TC – Because everybody come here to take it. Coal and ash are some kind of lucky charm.
AB – A lucky charm? How’s that?
TC – Some say that if you keep some ash and coal at home the devil will keep away.
